Construct China Tour

Live Visual Show - Video Shooting & Editing - Poster Design


Right after my Diploma at ECAL I got hired by Construct Music, a swiss booking agency to design their logo and create their visual identity.

I joined their roster of artists as a VJ and had the opportunity to join their 2017 China Tour.

I designed the communication assets for the tour such as posters, social media assets and other digital stuff.

During the tour, I played a Live Visual Act supporting the 3 musical acts. As every performer had its own universe and stories my visuals were matching every act to enhance the artistic experience.

I also documented the whole tour on camera using a smartphone and a chinese gimbal bought in Beijing. The idea was to be able to shoot anytime, anywhere without carying heavy devices. The result in summarised in two aftermovies.

A few numbers : We toured for 30 days, played 9 gigs, visited 7 cities, flew around 20’000km and ate about 1’000’000 dumplings.

We met amazing people along the way and discovered a great culture.
